Pastured Raised Pigs
Our pigs live on pasture where they are free to roam and root in the woods. Our pigs eat a diverse diet of grass, roots, and local non-GMO grain. Pigs that are raised on pasture can have more nutritional meat that is higher in omega 3 and their fat is high in vitamin D as they are exposed to sunshine. The pig operation on our farm is managed by the children as they each have ownership in the hogs.

These little goats are small but have large, playful personalities! We have a registered heard of Nigerian Dwarf Goats. If you are looking for a NDG, contact us as we may have just what you are looking for.
Grass Fed Dexter Cows/Beef
Our Dexter cows are raised with care by our son, Elliott. He’s hands-on with their daily care and takes great pride in raising healthy, well-handled animals. We offer registered Dexter calves for those looking to start or grow a herd, as well as 100% grass-fed Dexter beef for families who value nutrient-dense, responsibly raised food. Small in size, big in quality—these cows are a special part of our farm.
Pasture Raised Chicken
Our chickens live outdoors on pasture year-round, doing what chickens were made to do—scratching, foraging, and chasing bugs in the grass. They’re moved to fresh pasture every single day and are never given antibiotics or drugs.
By raising our birds on pasture, we’re building soil while producing chicken that’s deeply flavorful, nutrient-dense, and responsibly raised—just the way food should be.
Mini Donkeys
Our love for miniature donkeys began long before Little Oxen Farm ever existed. Growing up on a Morgan horse farm in Vermont, I always dreamed of one day raising miniature donkeys of our own. That dream stayed in my heart for years, and now it has become such a meaningful part of our farm and family life. Miniature donkeys are incredibly sweet, gentle, and hardy animals, making them one of our favorite homestead companions. Our children love spending time with them—playing, brushing, and growing up alongside them every day. They bring so much joy, peace, and personality to the farm, and we truly love sharing them with others.
